On the sixth day after the "First Meeting for Exchange of Opinions Concerning Adaptation Promotion of Local Governments" on December 5, we held a hearing meeting in Tokyo on support for adaptation promotion by local governments. In addition, in parallel with the interviews, we introduced the contents of A-PLAT website to the participants. In A-PLAT introduction, we introduced the local government pages and adaptation databases that local government officials would like to utilize after giving an overview of A-PLAT's data and functions.

The questionnaire survey was conducted with the cooperation of all participants, and an additional 12 people also participated in the interview survey. In the survey, we asked about opinions and impressions regarding the meeting for exchanging opinions on December 5, opinions and impressions regarding A-PLAT, as well as the status of efforts to adapt to regional climate change and the status of deliberations regarding the Regional Climate Change Adaptation Centre. We received the opinions of those who cooperated with you that they "expect the next meeting," "have been linked to cooperation with related organizations," and "have received useful information," as well as the improvement points of the next meeting. In addition, we were able to obtain the status of A-PLAT use and the current situation and issues related to the promotion of adaptation by local governments.
