Efforts by Ministries and Agencies
This page provides information on climate change adaptation from relevant government ministries and agencies. It is important to understand the activities of each relevant ministry and agency when promoting national adaptation measures. Local governments need to collaborate not only with environmental departments, but also with related departments in various fields such as urban planning, disaster prevention, economy and industry, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. For this reason, those in charge of adaptation-related departments in local governments will also need to be aware of the government's adaptation-related activities. In this section, we will periodically update and post information on adaptation-related websites of various ministries and agencies that are available in English.
