COP26 Climate Change Adaptation Special!

Climate change adaptation will be one of the main topics of discussion at COP26 (the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), which will be held in Glasgow, UK, from October 31 (Sunday) to November 12 (Friday), 2021.
From CCCA (Center for Climate Change Adaptation, National Institute for Environmental Studies), Dr. Yuji Masutomi, Director of the Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Research Office, will speak at a side event in the Japan Pavilion on November 2 to discuss the possibility of promoting adaptation around the AP-PLAT (Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Information Platform), which is scheduled to be renewed on November 1. The discussion will focus on the AP-PLAT (Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Information Platform), which is scheduled to be renewed on November 1, and its potential for promoting adaptation around the world. CCCA will translate and disseminate adaptation information in Japanese as needed to share good practices and discuss specific applications of the information platform.
