On the occasion of the G20 Energy Conversion for Sustainable Growth and the G20 Council on Global Environment (hereinafter referred to as the "G20 Ministerial Meeting"), Ministry of the Environment launched the Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Information Platform (AP-PLAT) and held a launch ceremony. At the ceremony, representatives from the Indonesian Government (G20 members) and the Thai Government (invited countries) gave congratulatory speeches commemorating the launch of AP-PLAT.
AP-PLAT was also registered as one of the multilateral actions in the G20 Action Agenda on Adaptation and Resilient Infrastructure (AAA), which was compiled by the G20 Minister of the Environment at the G20 Ministerial Meeting.
Ministry of the Environment and National Institute for Environmental Studies will cooperate with relevant countries and organizations in order to build a better AP-PLAT.
